About CDTP MES Polytechnic
CDTP it is one of the Government scheme sponsored by Ministry of Human Resource Development Government of India. MES POLYTECHNIC comes under the CDTP plan. This website gives the information about various courses and their details.It also gives Skill trainings to ordinary persons, students and woman's. It also helps to them built their own life.
The scheme envisaged the Community Polytechnics to act as important centres for the application of Science and Technology in rural areas and and generate self and wage based employment opportunities, through non formal training, towards and competency and need based courses, in various trades The scheme envisaged the Community Polytechnics to act as important centres for the application of Science and Technology in rural areas and generate self and wage based employment opportunities, through non formal training, towards and competency and need based courses, in various trades and multiple skills.
Manpower development through skill development training programmes, dissemination and application of appropriate technologies, technical and support services to the intended target groups and creating awareness among the masses about the technological advancements and contemporary issues of importance are the major activities organized under the scheme. Each polytechnic is permitted to start 5-10 extension centres within its vicinity. Each polytechnic is expected to train 600 persons, demonstrate five technologies and organize five technical services camps annually.
The main objectives and activities of this scheme are:
- To carryout need assessment surveys to assess the technology and training needs.
- To impart skill development training to the target group.
- To provide technical and support services to the rural masses and slum dwellers.
- To create awareness among target groups about technological advancement in contemporary issues of importance.
